Dale P. Pelot, 50, of N7327 Winnebago Drive, Town of Taycheedah, died Tuesday, December 24, 2002, at the Clement Zablocki Memorial Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born April 23, 1952, in Fond du Lac, the son of Junior & Bernice Ebling Pelot. Mr. Pelot was a self-employed painter. He was a veteran of the US Navy from 1971 to 1974, including 9 months as a gunners mate in Vietnam. On May 26, 1973, he married Nanci M. Bostwick at St. Louis Church. He was then later married to Sharon Hanrahan in Fond du Lac.

He is survived by a son, Ryan (Kristeen) Pelot of North Fond du Lac, a daughter, Melissa (Jason) Tramel of Fond du Lac, a step-daughter, Tricia Hanrahan of Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, his mother, Bernice Pelot (Special Friend Gene Liedke), thirteen nieces and nephews, two brothers, Gary (Diane) Pelot of Fond du Lac, and Allan Pelot of Beaver Dam, two sisters, Patty (Special Friend Mark Wondra) Newman of Fond du Lac, and Barb Backhaus of Kenosha, a sister-in-law, Michelle Pelot of Fond du Lac, and his special friend, Kathy Westby, of Fond du Lac. He is also survived by his former wives. His father and a brother, Jim, preceded him in death.

Visitation for Mr. Dale P. Pelot will be on Monday, December 30, 2002, from 4 to 6 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of The Word memorial services will be at 6 pm at the funeral home on Monday. I will miss Dale! My cousin always made me laugh and was a joy being with him. He will be missed by all that came into his life...and being a BEARS fan, we always gave each other ribbings! My memorial to him is to cheer for the Packers to the Super Bowl in honor of him. What a sacrifice!!
