Dale belonged to a close knit group of senior softball players. Hundreds of players, scores of teams. Dale was very well respected. He was a great hitter. When he got up to bat, the outfielders automatically backed up. Every team wanted him to be on their team. Each week when I saw Dale, we would hug each other. We are both Vietnam Infantry Veterans. And we always had a lot to talk about. We shared similar experiences about the Infantry and about coming home to an uncaring country. ...

I'm sorry for your loss. Dale was a good friend to me in 4th 5th and 6th grade. I was sad when his family moved from our area. So glade to see he had a great life.
