Not sure what to say?

Dear Phyllis and Family,
It was very sad news to hear Uncle Dale has left us. We had big plans on visiting with him this coming summer, but now will live with memories of a great man like he was. We are truly sorry that he is no longer with us all. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy.
Merle and Flora Shockey

Thinking of the Shockey family today, and thinking about what a great Principal and teacher Mr. Shockey was during my years at Victoria School. His students at Victoria appreciated his kind, gentle and fair approach to us students.

We are saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. He played a great role in your lives and in the community where he lived. You are in our prayers.

To The Shockey family:
Our thoughts are with all of you at this sad and difficult time. We have had the privlege of knowing Dale for many years and always admired his enthusiasm for life and his many talents. He will be truly missed. With our most sincere sympathy.

To the Shockey family:
Our sincerest condolences: Ruth and I were privileged to have known Dale over the years. We witnessed Dale’s great gift as a grandfather, to Sarah and Mariah Monro here in Edmonton, and marveled at his, many skills when visiting here. His many experiences in life made him a very interesting person to visit with. Dale was an inspiration to us all, and will be missed. Our prayers go to you Phyllis and your family. Love Ruth Rich and Family.

To the family of Dale Shockey:

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this very difficult time. I know you will always treasure the memories, but please remember that you have many friends to turn to who will always be there for support.

My sincere condolances to the family at this most difficult time. I had the pleasure of meeting Dale through Joanne and Bill a few times, and was always struck by his modesty and decency.

To the Shockey family, my sincerest condolences. Mr. Shockey was a kind and gentle person who was a wonderful friend to my parents and our family. My prayers are with you.

My sincere condolences to the Shockey family. I was his pupil 1957-9 at North Park. As I reflect back on his influence on me - it was his love of agriculture. To this day I enjoy going to country fairs and driving through farmland. Always a fair and gentle man.
