I had the privilege of knowing Dale during our high school years (and John Julian) and am just learning of his passing. The sadness that others felt last year in hearing this sad news, I am feeling now. I recall Dale always being a very positive "let's do this" person. His life and career speak for themselves; he was a true patriot, an accomplished warrior and outstanding pilot.
