Dale SPECKMAN

Dale was a nice guy, and was always liked. I too remember him riding his bike and stopping over to see how my Dad was doing.

We just moved into our winter house in Punta Gorda when Dale rolled into the driveway on his bike. He welcomed us with a big smile. I asked if he played golf and his eyes lit up. We played almost every week in the winter thereafter for over ten years. He would always drive so my wife would have a car. I recall, with affection, matriculating w/Dale in the Freshman class (and as roommates in Saylor Hall) at Baldwin-Wallace College (now, University) in September 1951. I also recall how much we enjoyed singing in a quartet with Richard(s) Ludwig and Kauffman in our high school years, Dale was also a valued companion on the varsity basketball team.
