Dale Thomas Withey

Dale Thomas Withey of Davison Township age 74, died Saturday April 16, 2016 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday April 20, 2016 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Mark Wentzel officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Dale's memory to the American Cancer Society. Dale was born in Flint Michigan on April 17, 1941 the son of the late; Myron & Florence (Newberry) Withey, and had been a resident of Ortonville, Goodrich and Davison. He was joined in marriage to Barbara Jean Slinglend on August 1, 1960. Answering the call of his country Dale served in the US Marine Corp. Dale served on the Atlas Township Board, and had been employed by General Motors Fisher Body Pontiac Division until his retirement. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Barbara, children; Timothy & Tammy Withey, Christy & John Callahan, and Tracy & Mandi Withey. He also leaves grandchildren; Ashley, Derek, Magen, great grandson Lane, and his brothers; Robert & Pat Withey, and Ronald & Xiomara Withey. Share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
