Dalla Hanks in the middle Raintree October 1984 at a birthday party

I just read about Dallas' death in BYU Today. Dallas and I attended BYU Agronomy Department together and then roomed with each other the summer of 1987 in Huntington, UT farming for Utah Power and Light. He was a fun roommate; we had a lot of fun in the evenings during our time-off. I pass my condolences to his family.

I worked with Dallas as he tried to convince the Tooele Army Depot to plant biofuel on some of its underutilized land. He was tenacious in his beliefs and a truly wonderful human being. I am sorry I did not know of his passing sooner. I am also sorry that I will not be able to work with him in the future. May he rest in peace.

Dallas (Dewi) you will be missed. We had some great times as kids, I often think about our outings and fun times with all the Star ward guys we grew up with. I'll see you in the next life. You friend Mark Gregersen

I am so sorry to hear of Dallas' passing. I worked with him at USU. He was always smiling and enthusiastic. My memories of our conversations were of him always being happy and smiling. What a wonderful person! My condolences to the family til you are all reunited on the other side.

Sincerest condolences from Jeff and April Barrett.

We are thinking about you Uncle Phil and Aunt Beulah and your family. So sorry for your loss.
