Some of the best memories of my youth include Dallas. Growing up in the Shaffer family was a blessing. (My father was Vermon--brother of Carl, Sr.). Dallas and I referred to each other as "favorite cousin." I regret that I cannot be there for the memorial as I am in North Carolina for an Eylea injection. You are in my prayers.
