Not sure what to say?

A man who brought music in my life, gave me a best childhood friend and was always there for my family. God Bless you Dallas!

I remember Dallas as a warm and gentle man - a good man. He and his music will be missed.

The loss of Dallas extends throughout our community and beyond. It was such a privilege and good fortune to know him over the years! He touched so many lives with his kindness, friendship, mentoring, and musicianship. Our sincerest condolences and kind regards to his family and all who knew him.

Edie,

Condolences on losing Dallas. Although the years have gone by quickly, some of my fondest memories are of the time I spent with you and Dallas at the University of Louisville. You both were great friends! He was always a person you could talk to...and who listened. His life will be remembered for his musical career, but more importantly as a terrific human being.

He will be missed by friends, collegues and students!

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
It is impossible to estimate the number of lives that Dallas touched--through his music, his teaching, the ongoing performing and teaching by his students-- as well as so many others who knew him through his non-musical activities. I feel blessed to have known Dallas. He was the only person EVER to be able to take a photo of our camera-shy dog!
He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Dear Edie, Nancy and all the members of the Tidwell Family,
This is such very sad news to receive. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

So shocked and saddened to see Dallas's face in the obits this morning. My sincere condolences go out to Eddie and Nancy and their families. Gone so soon. A huge hole is left in your lives as well as the music community in Louisville. His legacy will live on in all his grateful students and fellow musicians and anyone who were lucky enough to have known him. Sincerely, Teresa Heintzman

Dallas was my clarinet mentor for 8 years in the late 80s. I will always remember his kind soul, great teaching, and cheerful heart. May God bless the family during this time.
