I had the great pleasure of meeting Brick 31 years ago. I will always be blessed with remembering his many stories and his dry sense of humor. He loved his family very much. He was a pillar of strength. When he wanted to do something he always did it his way. He never asked for help. I loved him very much and my thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

Grandpop has given me memories and told stories that no one else could have. When I think of him the words that come to mind are; intelligence, respect, strenth and admiration. I don't know why his nickname was "Brick",maybe, because he was to me, a strong building block, in which I used his morals and teachings to build my life upon from childhood.
