Dalton Floyd Long was born in Picher, Oklahoma to William Floyd Long and Vada Ruth (Hightower) Long on March 5, 1943. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty Lou Atwood and his son, Cliff Long.

I love you Daddy!! I will miss you so much. I’ll miss our talks and our regular text conversations. I’m so thankful for the times we’ve had and the memories we’ve made.

I never met any of Dalton’s family. But I’d like y’all to know that Dalton was a special person to me. He always had a smile and a story to share. I enjoyed his company whenever our paths crossed. RIP ol friend!

As a friend of Mr. Long’s daughter, Tina Martin, I would like to offer my condolences to Tina and her immediate family as well as the extended family of Mr. Long. I am so very sorry for your loss and the tragic way in which you lost your beloved, father, husband, grandfather, uncle, brother or dear friend. I am also the daughter of a 32nd degree Mason as well as a Shriner and I am a member of The Eastern Star, so I also which to over my sympathy to his “brothers” in both of this close...

I am so sorry and am praying for you all in this difficult time. I have fond memories of visiting with him (and Peggy) when he would come to see Memaw (Annie Mae).
