Damein Alexander Scott left us peacefully on October 23, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones. Damein (affectionally called Danny) will always be remembered for his strong character and loving sense of family. Damein was born on January 7, 1971 to Victoria Rheams Scott and MacArthur Scott in Baton Rouge, La. He graduated from East Ascension High School with his diploma. After graduation, he served in the Navy. He was fond of mechanics and detailing vehicles . He loved to laugh and always offered a helping hand. One of Damien's favorite pastimes included seeking enlightenment and deepening his spiritual understanding. Although he never married, he was always surrounded by friends and family. Damein's family will be survived by his mother Victoria Ashton, sister Tabitha Walkowski, brother MacArthur Bougere, sister Barbara Herring, nieces Danielle Johnson, Bianca Glueck, Taylor Joyeux, and nephew Tyler Joyeux and great neices and nephews named Gabriel Glueck, Camille Glueck, Ava Johnson, and Eric Johnson Jr. He was preceded in death by his father MacArthur Scott, uncle Alton Scott, aunt Viola Scott, aunt Leola Scott, aunt Mary Gale Scott and his aunt Locoria Rheams.
