Despite the fact that I only met Damita since she had health problems, I always thought of her as full of life, always rising to the challenges she faced. I was very sorry to hear of her passing, but I am happy for her. She is with the Lord she loves and her earthly limitations are gone. She is free at last. Her example will always remain with me and the many others whose lives she touched. She showed us how to walk with the Lord and be at peace no matter how difficult the circumstances. ...

Damita and I went to Glenville High Scool together where she always was full of fun and laughter and enjoyed life. I have not seen her in over 35yrs but I still remember her picture from our year book. May she rest in peace and her Soul and Sprit find eternal rest in the arms of the Lord and her laughter be heard by all of her family and friends who are waiting to greet...
