Not sure what to say?

judge Damon Keith was a mentor of mine when I worked for the City of Detroit Law Department. Lawyers and Judges who also mentored me used to invite me to lunch, and particularly break bread with Judge Keith, and soak up an amazing amount of jurisprudence. Today I hold those lunches sacred.

You were so honorable, you will never be forgotten! Linda Keith Ragland, Newnan, Georgia!

Judge Damon Keith was a mentor and friend when I practiced law in Detroit, Michigan. I remember I would meet Judge Keith, Judge Bowman and others in the evening hours or during lunch in the Renaissance Center. He imparted to me legal words of wisdom that still govern how I practice law today. The last time we talked was at President-Elect Barack Obama's Inauguration. I was practicing law in Texas and he was still mentoring me. God bless you my treasured mentor and friend.

To the family of Judge Damon Keith, you have my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences. We have lost a giant of a man. My great-grand-mother rented from his brother N. Keith on Carter Street in Detroit for many years. May Judge Damon Keith rest in perfect peace......Amen!

My sincerest condolences are with the Keith family as you grieve the loss of your dear one. He lived a long and honorable life and left a beautiful lasting legacy for you to cherish in his loving memory.
