Please accept my remembrance of Damon on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

Elder Legrand..... I was a pleasure to serve with you in the mission. You were my Zone leader.
There was a time when we were teaching a young lady and you insisted that we sing "A child's Prayer". The spirit was so strong that I could never forget it. Every time we sing this song in our Family Home Evening it reminds me of that moment.

Damon, I took your oldest to the Snowball Express for children of the fallen heroes. She had a wonderful time and understands how many thousands of other children there are with daddys and mommys who are also heros. I love you dearly and will never forget. I should have your Scholarship Foundation in place within 2 years with a healthy beginning. We will never forget. I am sending you a hug. Love Mother
