Not sure what to say?

Coach was my science teacher at Central Junior High, and he fostered in me a lifelong love of science. He was a kind man, and always so dedicated to his students. I remember him fondly, and send my deepest condolences to his family.

Coach Beckelman was an amazing coach and teacher...he was smart and wise beyond his years...he knew me better than I knew myself and never gave up on during my Irma Marsh and Castleberry years...I still hear his instruction all these years later, “...stay Lucy Goosey!” Love you coach and will miss you!

Coach Beckleman was my Science teacher at Marsh Jr. High back in ‘69-‘70. He was an incredible teacher. He moved up to Castleberry High School with us and though he wasn’t my coach, I always stopped by his room to talk. He inspired me to go to Philmont Scout Ranch in ‘70 and to attend UT. Coach Beckelman is a man I will forever remember as one of the most dedicated coaches I’ve ever known. He coached along with my dad , Coach James , at Central , and I also participated in summer track with him. From the time I was a child even through when my grown children were in high school , Coach Beckelman has been involved in HEB sports in some way . What a legacy he has, and I’m blessed to have known Coach and Irene. Our prayers to you , Lee , and all of your family .

Dan was my friend and a co-worker for more than 40 years. He was certainly one of a kind! He was the hardest worker I have ever seen as well as a dedicated Christian, husband, father, and grandfather. It was my great pleasure to have known and worked with him and Irene. He was a great man!

Lee, we´re so sorry for your loss.

We are so sorry to hear of Dan´s passing. He was such a pleasure to visit with. He had so many neat lifetime experiences to talk about. As much as we mourn his passing, but we rejoice in his going home to be with Mama ( he never called her by name...so I never knew it!)
