Dan Schumpert Blount

I was deeply saddened to read of Dan's passing in our local Naples newspaper. Dan and his wife Helen welcomed us warmly when we moved into the Waldorf Condominium 20 years ago, and in the ensuing years we had many good times together. He was a great man, and I was privileged to have him as a neighbor and friend. Dan had a great love for his family, and it is to his family that I offer my condolences at this sad time. You will miss him greatly, and so will I.

I worked with/for Dan at Montgomery many years ago. He was such a nice man. I remember him for his kindness to me. As a side note, my Grandma, Mabel McBride, used to babysit the Blount kids. Our sincere condolences. Jane McBride Olmsted and Tom Olmsted
