Not sure what to say?

In the late 70s, I met Dan at Brockman Gallery. We were selected, along with Kent Twitchell, Maren Hassinger, Senga Nengudi, Audubon Lucas, Richard Duardo, Joe Funk, Joan DeBruin, and Suzanne Jackson for the Professional Artists Public Art Program. Dan was such a kind, soft spoken and considerate professional. When he spoke everyone listened, because he always had something worth listening to.....even a young, brash, self absorbed upstart like myself. May he rest in the power of his legacy...

Sincere condolences to Dan's family and friends. I worked with him in the art world in the 1980s-90s when he ran the Art Information Service and he was ever-friendly and kind and smart and helpful and also omnipresent- you would notice if he was NOT at an opening. Hey Dan!

Dan was one of my first art teachers at Cal State LA. He was mesmerizing, thought provoking and such a gentleman. I can still remember much of what I learned from him. We met up again in New York some 25 years later and he was still the same enchanting, dedicated artist. He was a unique soul and will be missed but never forgotten.

Dan was an amazing artist and an amazing man. Our paths crossed often in 70's Los Angeles at the Brockman Gallery. My condolences to his family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death can make us feel helpless. May you gain the strength you need by pouring out your heart in prayer to God. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I'm sorry for the loss of your loved one. During this difficult time, may prayer and comfort strengthen you and your family.

To the Concholar Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
