Not sure what to say?

I was really saddened to hear of Mr. Cuddy's passing. He was an extraordinary man. There are many in the community and all around the state who will mourn deeply his passing as his was a life of service, love, compassion and excellence. May he rest in peace. It was quit an honor to work with and get to know this wonderful man as an employee of FBNA, he was always a man of great words.

My condolences to the entire Cuddy family. I had the pleasure of working for FNBA from 2009-2012. I worked at the south branch. I was very fortunate to be able to meet and speak with him from time to time when he would come into the bank from across the street. He always had a sincere smile. He was good to his employees! He will be missed. God has gained a true hero!

I can't remember a time when I walked into the offices of First National Bank and did not see well dressed smiling Mr. Cuddy. He will be missed. Thinking of you my friend Betsy.

Dear Cuddy Family - we were all very lucky to have the parents we did. Although there is sadness in your Dad passing, there is solace in knowing he is once again reunited with your beautiful Mom. They both left a lasting legacy, and for me personally fond memories. Thank you for sharing your Dad with all of us! love & hugs

I'm so sorry for your loss. May God's promises found in his word comfort you during this difficult time. John 6:40

Mr. Cuddy was a great Alaskan. I first met him in the 60s when working for lawyer Ted Stevens, we handled the closing of the purchase of the Anchorage Daily News by the Fannings from the Brown's in Cuddy's board room. Much impressed this young legal secretary. Later on I served on Alcom's Civilian Advisory Board with Mr. Cuddy. I was also a representative on the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Service (DACOWITS). Dan would look me right in the eye and say "Barb, we cannot let...

The death of Dan Cuddy is one of those memorable times in your life when you know a man of giant influence and personality has left us, and an era has closed. Our lives were changed and made better because of him, his family and the bank. It comes at a time when you wish Jack London or Robert Service were with us and they could truly convey our grief in the simple words of the great State of Alaska Mr. Cuddy loved and served.

When I started at the bank as a young kid in '93, I was so intimidated by him. Then I started talking with him at the bank and at bank functions and realized he was a very nice man who was never pretentious in any way even though he was the President of the bank. He treated all people with respect regardless of your position. Mr. Cuddy you will be missed.

It was truly an Honour to serve him in his last days his messages were inspiring and what a good job and a nice Family that you raised. Eternal rest be granted unto you
