Good morning Julie,
Our hearts go out to you. We miss Dan and have wonderful memories of him.
We checked around for photos or videos of Dan - and have not found any. Should we, later down the road, find them - we'll get in touch.
His last visit with us - he was very clear about this situation and we all hoped for the best - he was positive and as he said to us, "up for the fight" and had hoped to get back in touch with us...

Julie, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your best friend & husband. I met Dan 14 years ago when I was an Activity Director at another facility. When I came to the Arbors at Westfield, I TRACKED HIM DOWN! He always greeted me with a hug, and knew many of our residents by name. Dan truly had a passion for what he did. Our residents here at the Arbors at Westfield and myself will miss him dearly. May you find peace in knowing he was a wonderful person.

I am so sorry about your husband. He has been missed and we loved and appreciated his music in all the times he played for us. I wish you the best. I know it is a hard transition to loose someone so close. Sincerely, Sheila Gammon

Dear Julie, I am saddened to hear that Dan did not win his battle. I will post this for the residents of Waterstone. Dan did share with us that he was fighting and we kept him in our thoughts and prayers. Dan was a very generous performer of his music and self. I am so very happy that we got to know Dan and his music while he was with us on earth. This is a very difficult time for you and your family. I am sorry for your loss. Jody Briggs (Waterstone at Wellesley)

Dear Julie
Thank you very much for reaching out.
I am so very sorry for you and your family and send prayers, love, strength, and peace your way.
Your Dan was a true musician who loved his craft and enjoyed sharing music to brighten the lives of others; and we at the Arbors at Amherst were fortunate to have known him.
Now he plays with the angels and all those other musical greats that left before himyou know he's giving Elvis a run for his money right nowJ
God speed...
