Dan J. Elber

It seems like an eternity since sitting in Mr. Elber's class in the late 1980s at Midview Middle school. I always appreciated him for letting me clip through those stacks of Browns News Illustrated! He was my friend and a classic example of an "old school" teacher. My condolences to the family.

We're so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was a great neighbor. He loved going back and forth with my husband over the Steelers. He'd yell out go Browns as my husband yell out go Steelers...then They'd laugh. He will be deeply missed.

Enjoyed playin on softball and bowling teams with Danno. Loved going to to german Club for the spring and winter german dances, and of course, meeting up at the stadium for brown's games. So many memories from teaching at the Middle School to recount. I will miss you my friend.

My heart is hurting today.....nobody loved the Cleveland Browns more, had a hand shake like his, rode a motorcycle to work with a tie like him, had a stronger work ethic than him, rocked an Art smock like him and supported me more as a newbie Art teacher working alongside him for many years. He loved his family more than anything.....both at home and at work (we were his "work family"....jokingly, I was his "work wife"). Dano will be missed!! Love, Heather Maxwell

So sad to hear of Dan's passing. He was a good friend while we worked together at Midview Middle School. He was loyal and a good man.

As a member of STV Bavaria, Dano was a great Friend and Dancer. His Quick Humor and Kamradery will be missed. Our Deepest Condolences go out to the entire Elber, Ott and Rock Families. He is still Cheering!
