Jackie, Dr Elrod was our family (Buddy and Linda Love) doctor in Hazlehurst. I remember as a child he was the best doctor. I never was scared about going to the doctor because he always made me feel better…even shots were not that bad!!! And I remember the rings that he would give…always made everything better!!! I remember to this day because I have shared this with my girls…I had little bumps on my shoulders and he would call them “love bumps”…my last name was Love (Penny Love).
