My mother, Faye, and Dan were good friends from the Tampa Daily Times years, and I remember my Mother got Dan to show me a little about photography one time, and it stuck.
He will be remembered fondly by many. (I remember we got the first ever "photo Christmas card" with Dan and family decorating the tree.)

The June Glenn, Jr. family of Black Mountain, NC send their deepest sympathy. My Dad, June and Dan were long time news photographers and workers in Region 6 of NPPA. Dan and Irene continued to be our friends over the years and we enjoyed our visits to see them in Tampa.
