I was a hopeless alcoholic after I got out of the military, And on a crew that sold soap door to door. And some how I ended up at his door. I new who he was but he didn't know me. That was the nicest man I've ever met. He spent over a hour talking to me just like I was a long lost friend. He told me about God and that God wanted to help me. Years later I expected Jesus. I don't think that would have happened if he had not taken the time for me. What a wonderful man. Thank you...

When I was a kid in the early seventies( I'm 55) in Brentwood, Ontario , we had a bookclub in school and I ordered Grizzly Adams the life and times. It was the book that first gave me an interest in reading. I absolutely loved it and used to dream of it like I was in it. From the opening pages of the Adams being accused of murder to peg finally being able to see her father and of course Ben the bear, mad Jack and Nakoma, I was entranced. This man will always be the man I wished my father...
