Not sure what to say?

I was Dan's roommate in Princeton 35 years ago. I saw him for the last time in 1983 in NYC. I found myself thinking about him yesterday and decided to look for any news of him using Google. I was shocked and saddened upon learning of his passing.

Dan was a true "gentle" man. He made the world a better place. I pray for comfort for his family and friends.

Never hesitate to let someone know you care about them, because sometimes it may be too late.

I met Dan while hiking the Alps in Zermatt, Switzerland. While it was a short period of time to get to know him, I felt like I had met a really interesting and genuine person who had lived a most interesting life. I recall many of the entertaining stories he told of his work in the publishing industry as we sat in a restaurant in the village of Zermatt. I had hoped to visit with him sometime in New York and was saddened by the news of his passing. He will be missed.

Love and condolences to Peyton and his family. I have many happy memories of Danny and the whole Harvey family growing up in Danville. Godspeed, Friend.

I will always cherish Danny's love, laughter and friendship. He has, and will continue, to share a special place in my heart as he did in my life. I know that this will be true for all who were privileged to know him. We were blessed.
Peyton, you and your family have lost so much. May you find peace in the knowledge that the stars that shine in the heavens are God's way of sharing our loved ones who have passed on to a better place.

I was deeply saddened by Danny's passing. We grew up together literally, his family living upstairs from mine in a duplex on Va. Ave. Being the same age, we were in the same grade all the way through. We were close friends then, and were excited to hook up again at a recent G.W.H.S. reunion. My condolences to Peyton and family. Bon Voyage, my old friend.

Dear Peyton,
I am unable to express the sorrow and grief that grips me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dan was the best friend I ever had.

To Peyton and the family my thoughts are with all of you
and to Michael - much love at this
sad time
Dan will live forever in all our memories as the kindest dearest
most generous friend -
Meeting him changed my life and knowing him enriched the lives of so many - -and that smile of his and
the inimitable sound of his laughter will be with me always

I worked at Stratford College with Dan's mother, Lydia, for several years. The joy and pride she and Reuben had for their sons was palpable and real. I was priviledged to have met Dan during those years. To the family I extend my deepest condolences.

Dear Peyton, I was so sorry to hear about Danny's passing. I remember coming to your house to play, as a child ,and he was always so nice to me. Always so friendly.
