One of my all-time favorites...what a gem of a man. I remember forever a trip to Chicago with Dan and my Dad...Neocon the huge tradeshow watching he and my Dad interact as colorful professionals; our winding up in Greek Town, and Rush St. Dan went into full Pirate-Mode entertaining a bar full of Vietnam Vets who were in town for a parade. It was always a big plus to serendipitously run into Dan. He continuously wore a big smile and conveyed the impression that life was good and just plain fun. He will be sorely missed.

Dan's obit gave me one more chance to experience his charm and wit. Dan, I hope you enjoy the ocean blue with Martine forever. Bon Voyage indeed!
