Not sure what to say?

I worked for Dan from 2003 until 2005. He was a great mentor and friend. He never ceased to amaze with his ingenuity and his sense of humor, while subtle, would stick with you most of the day. I miss him.

I'm glad I got the chance to meet him and enjoy his company.

We are sorry we hadn't seen the notice earlier. I was honored to know Dan as a relative, a friend and even a "protector". He was always willing to share what he had in love, humor and hospitality. As a young woman I lived in New York and lost my place to live. He introduced me to his Brooklyn/Queens relatives and helped me connect to family for a place to live and more than a few good meals. His kindness and fire for life will be deeply missed. We love you all. Vanessa & Mark

He was such a great, wonderful man....I was fortunate to have met him.

I consider myself lucky to have met him, always friendly and open, we were often discussing our various projects. I'm glad I got to visit with him one last time a few weeks ago, I'll miss seing him at the meetings.

I was shocked to hear of Dan's passing. I was fortunate enough to get to know him through a social group we were in and we quickly became friends. He was kind and soft-spoken and had a zest for life, and was just a joy to be around. We met for lunch from time to time and I always looked forward to his warm humor and his wisdom.

My heartfelt condolences to Mary Ann and family. We'll miss him.

Dear MaryAnn and family,
I cannot fully express my grief at the loss of Dan, but I will try.
Dan and I were classmates at our elementary school and junior high (P S 63, JHS 149 in East New York)He was too smart for our high school,Thomas Jefferson HS and went to the more selective Brooklyn Tech.
We lost touch over the years and then a few years ago I saw his name and email on a web site about East New York, our old neighborhood.I wasn't sure he'd remember me but sure enough he did...

Dear MaryAnn and Family,
Aaron and I were saddened to hear of Dan's passing. Please accept our sincere condolences in your loss. May God grant you peace and strength during this time.

God Bless,

Aaron and Debbie Whitaker
