Not sure what to say?

My condolences to his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and a jovial demeanor. I will forever remember him as " the Smucker's commercial guy", from the late 80's-90's, because he sounded just like him. Rest in peace

Bill Boeck & Dan October 2014

Cathy, Shari, family, even though Dan and I did not see each other very often during the past 10 years, but we stayed in touch and talked often. I will miss his friendship very much. Bill & Marsha Boeck Walsenburg, Colorado.

To Cathy and Family,

So sorry to hear this news of Dan's passing. You and your family have my deepest sympathy at this very sad time.

Shari,
So sorry to hear this news of your Dad's passing. We just found out today otherwise we would have come to the visitation. While I didn't know him but for a few events many years ago, Mom and Dad did know him and always spoke highly of Dan, saying how kind he was.
You and your family have our deepest sympathy at this very sad time.
Love,
Cheryl and Robert

Dan was such a good friend to Jesse. I'm glad for all of the times they enjoyed together. My thoughts are with you Cathy & the rest of the family. Today's snow & Jesse's bad cold have kept us from being there. We wish you love, peace & comfort.

Dan was an amazing man. He loved Cathy very much. We were at Steak-n-Shake & didn't know Dan was there. He started hooting & hollering at Cathy & we had no idea what was going on. So very funny when we realized it was him!! He always had a smile on his face, a kind word to say, & will be dearly missed.....

So many memories. So many good times. We'll miss you Dan. You were one of a kind.

The first thing that comes to my mind is the day that he was out at my house last summer trying to fish for catfish with the smallest fly I've ever seen. As he sat there casting his flyrod we all laughed at how silly he was to be trying such a thing. In our amazement, about 4 minutes later, he was reeling in about an 8 pounder. We watch in wonder at his finess and grace as he worked the cat in for the next 15 minutes. I'll never forget how proud he was.....and how proud all of us were that...

I have never known a better person then Dan loved and lived life to the fullest, and cared for his family and those around him in a way that inspired us all. We will all miss him but I feel so fortunate just to have known him.
