Not sure what to say?

Dan and I were friends ever since we met on our fisrt day at Columbia in 1946. I will greatly miss his smile and warmth.

Dan was one of my oldest friends in the world. We met in 1946 on our first day at Columbia and were part of a close social group during those years. We have maintained contact ever since. Enid and I have cherished his friendship and warmth ever since. We will miss him.

My Condolences and Sympathy,

Dan was exceptional. He cared about people and was generous in sharing time with me translating a scientific article from German at a time when we weren't even acquainted. Later I got to know him through his photography which was very creative. He took the ordinary and made it extraordinary. I felt honored when he told me he liked one of my photos that was on exhibit. My condolences to his family and friends.

Sad to hear of Dan's passing. He was a friend and mentor during my early years at Kodak.

Dan was a great friend to my father, Robert Cassie. He was so very kind when my dad passed, and it makes me smile to think they are now together taking photos of the heavens.

I was saddened to hear of Dan's passing. Many childhood memories of our families spending holidays together. Deepest sympathies.
