So sorry to hear about Dan, he was one of kind sweet, funny, no one was a stranger. So many great memories throughout the years. Sending prayers to the family. May he rest in peace and finally with Marge and Mere.

Dan was my cousin but when we were young we lived in a 2 flat and he seemed more like a brother back then.As adults we lived about 6 hours away and saw each other infrequently. Last time I visited him was in 2015 right before I moved to Hawaii. We both knew it was the last time I would see him and Margie. We looked at old pictures of when we were growing up.

Best. Neighbor. Ever.

Dan helped me get a job in the Granite City School District #9 in 1995, which I retired from in 2024. I will always treasure his friendship. I always called him "Mr. Dan". RIP Mr. Dan
