Dan Francis Reff

Dan was a wonderful person. I played in the Burlington-Edison High School band under Dan for almost 7 years. He drove several of us from Edison Elementary in to practice with the high school band every day in his car so I got to know him very well. He was a very gifted teacher and organizer. He encouraged my meager musical skills, as well as academically, athletically, and personally. I wish I had tracked him down in later years to thank him properly.

The 4 years I spent in the "A" Band with Mr Reff have brought me many happy memories over the years.
He was one of a kind and will be missed, although his legacy lives on through his students.

I worked with Dan in Bellevue, and later our paths crossed when he was consulting in Northshore. He always had a smile and great sense of humor. He will be missed.
