I had the extreme pleasure of knowing Dan for over 15 years. He lived nearby and always decorated his house and yard so beautifully for Christmas and Halloween. He didn't do anything half way. We worked together at SCI and then again when he accepted a job with Boeing. It was great to run into Dan and Scott in the NASA cafeteria from time to time. Dan always had a warm smile and a big hug for his friends. He will be sorely missed.

Dan was a great boss who always looked out for the employees he managed. He was always approachable and his sense of humor was wonderfully contagious. He will be missed by those who knew him.

Dan was a gregarious, kind and generally wonderful person whom I will always remember with great fondness. I spent a great deal of time with him during my younger years and not nearly enough time in my older ones.
We are all better having known him and I hope this knowledge brings a small measure of peace to his wonderful family and abundance of friends.
