Not sure what to say?

Dan and I dated a long time having met when we went to Eastern Michigan University. I received his ring. We spent time together which slowly went away as our trips to see each other passed away. He was a wonderful man and found the right lady who made him happy. God bless him. Judy Howe.

I dated Dan for some time when we went to Eastern Michigan University. He was a wonderful person to date and enjoy. I did see him when he was in Ann Arbor. God has received him. My love to his family. Judy Howe Clark

A great guy to work with and for. My condolences to the family.

We were neighbors and friends in the early '70s. Many happy memories and hugs coming your way, Pam.

Dear Pam and family: How do you say goodbye to a lifelong friend? We met Dan at Eastern where we were fraternity brothers, roommates, in each other's weddings--the list goes on and on. Then we worked together in Wayne-Westland. We've never had a better friend: smart, witty, genuine--that goes on and on, too. Dan was the person we might not see for years but with one glance, nothing had changed. So many great memories and stories. Pam, you were his rock. He loved his family so much: ...

Our friendship with Dan spanned 50 years. We traveled together, enjoyed times with each others children, played lots of cards and games and loved him. We will miss his ready smile, his willingness to help at any time and his absolute love for and pride in his family. Memories of our wonderful times with Dan will always be with us and bring us smiles. Our hearts are with Pam, Mica and Lara and their families. Rest in Peace, our dear friend.

I am so sad that I never got to meet Dan. But, after reading his beautifully written obit I now know how special he was to so many people. Rest in peace Dan. Everyone who knew you will miss you forever. My sincere condolences to the entire Slee family, especially to our dear friend, David.

I´m sorry to hear that your brother passed away. As I am sure you know, it will take a while to adjust . You will have to tell me about him sometime. Sorry for your loss. Pete

Very sad news. I hired Dan as often as I could as a wrestling official at Milan High School. Always very professional. He was highly respected by coaches, parents and student-athletes. He was the best and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
