I really liked dan...I met him when it was his first day on the job at willow greens..it was also my first day..bill crady walked us around the project and I could tell that the job was important to him...the look on his face..the way he walked..it was important...I grew to like him and respect him and I was proud to call him my friend...

I hope Jeannie and Ashley don't mind that I do this. I deeply regret that I did not have the chance to see you before you became so ill and left this earth, Dan. I have to say goodbye to you and this is the only way I can think of doing it now. You were the first real friend I had at COTI. You taught me so much about the church, the audio system, and who and what you are as a Christian and person. I learned over the years that you gave yourself, sometimes to the point of exhaustion to the church, to others, the School and the Thrift Store. I also loved to see you with Jeannie, and when we used to go to lunch, with Ashley. The love you showed them both was so warm and full of joy. When you were with Ashley it reminded me of my relationship with my daughter, with whom I too am so very close. When Ashley looked at you and joked with you her love for you just radiated from her face. Dan, you were a blessed man and loved by so many and those of us who knew you were blessed too. I will miss you very much as will your family and friends and so many others. The only consolation I have is that now I know you are with our Lord in Heaven and without pain or illness or sadness. We were blessed by God to have Dan in our life; in church, at work, and as a friend. Dan will be greatly missed! Praying for family and friends as we submit to God taking Dan HOME earlier than expected, but in God's time. Thank you God for blessing us with Dan.

I grew up hearing stories about Danny and visiting in the summer time. It is hard to think he is gone but our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
Just remember all the amazing memories you had with such a wonderful person. Danny will be missed by so many people but especially you two.

I have known Dan for over twenty five years. I recenty had the pleasure of spending the last year and a half working on a daily basis with Dan on his most recent project. I had worked for the company in the past and was unsure about how my return would be received. I remember the first day on the job, Dan was the first to welcome me and dismissed my anxieties almost immediately. Througout the duration of the job, we shared lunch almost daily. We talked family, God, friends and life and shared many laughs. When the job was over, I knew than not only had I rekindled a valued friendship but realized that Dan and his values set an example of the kind of man I strive to be. Dan will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and Prayers are with this family... I have known the Wallers since I was a little girl and will always remember "Dan".. He was such a good soul and funny! He always brought his daughter and I to Birthday parties... the skating rink.. anywhere we wanted to go :) he was always there to help and went above and beyond the normal father. You may be gone but will never be forgotten in everyones heart! RIP

Heartfelt condolences to the Waller family and his many friends. I remember how fierce Danny was as far back as Jr. High School as a wrestler -- tough as nails, but a smile that would light-up a room, and always kind to everyone. Danny was a great, great guy! Why do so many of the good ones have to go so early? Jeannie, you are all in our prayers.
