It has been ten years since Dan moved on. I still miss him. Dee missed him until the day she went to join him.

Now I can picture the two of them, dancing endlessly in the hereafter. How I wish I could have witnessed their reunion! In my heart of hearts, I know it wasn't long until the music was playing and they were off, like teenagers, whirling around . . . never again to let go of each others' hand.

It has taken me a long time to get to this point of writing. I think of Dee and Dan and their wonderful life together. Dee and Dan. Dee and Dan. You don't say one without the other. I first met Dan when I worked for his wife Dee an the gift shop at the Bahia Mar hotel on South Padre Island. My ex-husband was in the Coast Guard and was station there. Dan and Dee took us out to dinner for our birthdays and we had a marvelous time. We also went to their home for dinner a few times.
