I was an old Soldier of Dana's in Fort Hood, TX and I can remember her smiling face as if it was yesterday! She was my friend and I miss talking to her! Dana was a sweet person who loved her children and her family. She did not deserve what happened to her by far. I loved her and I still do love her because she was my Sister! We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time. My heart goes out to my nefews and niece hoping and praying that I will see you all soon one day very soon. I miss you Jhamal and I haven't yet met Jhavon or Vanessa but I hope so.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family. Bless the grandparents that is giving all their heart to raise the kids in a safe and stable home(environment). Stay strong and the Lord will make a way for you.

Dana was a very close friend of mine, losing her was like losing a sister. Dana’s family was the most important thing to her. She was a beautiful blooming rose that was taken from us, but I know she’s in a better place now. My heart and prayers goes out to her parents. I know losing a child, will leave a hole in you heart, but she left you three beautiful children to fill that hole with more love and joy then you could ever imagine…

May you now find Eternal Rest in the arms of the Prince of Peace, our Lord and Savior. Bless this family, Lord, and keep them as they struggle with the lifelong pain of losing Dana in this way. Help them find solace in the fact that her spirit is secure in Your Kingdom, and overcome the pain associated with the manner in which she passed from this Earth.
