I had the pleasure of meeting Dana at TWU and we became fast friends. She always had a wonderful smile even when things were not going as planned. Dana and I lost touch last year when our lives got busy and I am sadden to learn of her death. I was looking for my dear friend online to say hello and reconnect. I know she is in Heaven and smiling down on us and being funny as ever. I will greatly miss her until one day we meet again.

I never met Dana, but know of her by her kind actions. She and Earl repeatedly visited my brother at a difficult time in his life.
Despite not knowing me, she invited me to stay in her home if I were to visit Texas.
Her kindness and loyalty to a friend will long be remembered by me.

I cannot even begin to explain the love that my mom shared for not only her two daughters but also for the world, her husband Earl, her friends and family, and her two little dogs.
