Claire, I´m so sad for you and your sister. I met your Mom but didn´t have a chance to get to know her. What a moving and lovely obituary. You two were lucky to have her!

My big sisters - Dana and Sally. Dana was the arbitrator of the family. Being 10 years my senior, I was always pestering her to solve some sort of silly problem. No surprise to those who know her, she always helped out and had time for me. I turned 21 while away at college. Dana secretly sent money to my roommate with instructions to throw a surprise birthday party and make sure there was enough beer and food for all my friends. That was typical of her generosity and knowing how to spread...

I went to college with Dana where she was one of my closest friends and favorite people. I just can´t believe that I won´t see her again. I´m devastated. My love to her family. She was kind, open hearted, fun and she could really dance! In Heaven now, I´m sure she is surrounded by kids and dogs!

Dana was a cherished and wonderful colleague who collaborated with me on a national evaluation of student mentoring. Her warm smile and laugh will always remain with me.

Donna was the sweetest soul, who had the biggest heart. She always treated me like family, and another daughter. She was an incredible woman. I know she´s watching over her family, and making sure they are safe. I loved her so much and I´m grateful she was in my life
