DANA MEAD

I was lucky to have him as a coach and teacher at Westpoint. Remember a great story he told about Jim Brown knocking him cold in a freshman game against Syracuse. Later he was kind enough to write sveral letters of recommendation for me. I saw him get his recognition as a distinguished graduate of the academy this spring. I know he will be missed. One of the good guys.

I was privileged to work for Dana at International Paper. Our sympathy and prayers go out to Nancy and the family.

My sympathies to the Mead family. I was fortunate to be a corporate officer when Dana was on the board of LMI, a nonprofit firm. I appreciated him for his business intellect, personal manner, and patriotism.

Dana Mead was a man of profound intellect, dignity, ethics, fairness, courage, strength, patriotism, and industriousness. My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.
