I was a friend of Dana and Greg's at Ohio Wesleyan, and I am only now hearing of her passing via the college magazine. Dana was a fun person as well as a deep thinker who struggled, as did we all, with the contradictions and challenges of the Christian life. I would have loved to have visited more often after college - we lived different lives in different cities, and it is heartening to me to read about all the lives she has touched since then.

Thank you, Dana, for the love that you showered on the women at the Ohio Reformatory for Women! It was a pleasure working with you and getting to know you on the drives to Columbus. You will be greatly missed!

I wasn't able to drive that year and she extravagantly drove me around one day so I could buy gifts for my family. Her selflessness and life exuded the fruit of the Spirit. Her joy, depth, and willingness to sacrifice for...

What a sweet, Christ-like woman!
I enjoyed the pleasure of getting to know and serving with Dana in prison ministry - both at Tapestry events at ORW and through Kairos Ministry at Dayton Correctional.
I thank God for Dana's legacy of incredibly impacting many lives for eternity!

DANA WAS A LOVELY, GIVING, KIND WOMAN WHO FILLED THE WORLD WITH HER LOVE AND SELFLESSNESS. WE WILL ALL MISS HER SMILE AND SWEET VOICE. IT WAS ALWAYS A DELIGHT TO BE PART OF HER DECORATING FOR FAMILY PARTIES . HOW SHE LOVED HER FLOWERS. NOW SHE IS IN GOD'S GARDEN DELIGHTING IN THE BEAUTY. WE WILL KEEP ALL OF THE SCHULERS IN OUR PRAYERS.

Rest in peace, God's precious and chosen one. You were amazing on earth, you must be absolutely breathlessly incredible in your new home with the God you loved so well and served with your whole heart. Thank you for your kindness and generosity and the example you set of being faithful to Jesus always. I love you and look forward to seeing you again.
