I was able to have the pleasure to work with Danae at Old Navy when I was in High School. All I can remember about Danae is that she was constantly laughing and always had a smile on her face. She was a kind and beautiful person. She will be missed by me and by many others. My thoughts and prayers are with the Demattei family. You raised a wonderful daughter who was a friend to many.

She helped me through alot.. Danae was a wonderful human being, and there are not many like that out there.. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Danae's family and friends. Danae was the maid of honor in our daughter, Sara Thompson Boland's, wedding. It was a pleasure to know Danae and to plan both a bridal and baby shower with her. She was always so kind and friendly and a good friend to Sara and Sean.
