Not sure what to say?

So miss Dane!

Dane,

It seems much longer than three years since you've been gone. Maybe that's because we spoke so often. I am so missing all our long talks, your smile, your laughter and your sense of humor. Our long standing friendship meant the world to me. I have another great granddaughter and now a great grandson, too. Hug Sean and my daddy and keep watch over all of us. I miss all of you so very much. Love and hugs. Sharon

Well, Dane, it seems this will likely be the last entry in your guestbook, as it goes offline today.

I'd much rather this were an e-mail and we could still chat, but such is life; not always our choosing.

You were a dear friend, not just a brother-in-law and as such you will long be remembered.

So, this is not another goodbye but a so long until we meet once again in that "better place" where so many beloved family members reside.

Your friendship meant the world to...

Thinking about you on your first Angelversary. So hard to believe it's been a whole year. Sure have missed our talks. We have a new great granddaughter. Hope you are helping Sean and my dad keep watch over all of us who love you and miss you. Give my son and my daddy a hug.

Love ya.

Happy first birthday in Heaven.

You are truly missed here and thought about quite often.

We will never forget you and your friendship will always be a treasured memory.

Love,

Sharon, Joe and Family

Happy New Year, Dane.

Hope this coming year brings us some joy and happiness.

Give Sean and my daddy a hug.

Love and miss you all.

Sharon

Merry Christmas, Dane.

Dane,

Here we are nearing Christmas, just two days away.

I sent Carolyn a card to let her know that I was thinking of her and you and what I'll miss this Christmas from you.

Not my favorite time of year, but I so looked forward to your card and the accompanying CD of Christmas music which you always failed to label!! LOL

Year after year I'd admonish you and year after year they went unlabeled! I wish I could admonish you this year, too, but you'll be spending...

Dane,

Here we are again and another month has passed without you in our lives.

Tomorrow we say our last goodbyes and celebrate your life with family and friends.

I know you touched many, many lives but I can only speak for myself. Your friendship I will treasure and remember always.

I will never forget that wonderful smile and those bright eyes.

Thanks for always lending an ear, tolerating my so so pool playing and teaching me a few things in the...
