Dane Moses

Again, I was thinking of Dane a few days ago and what a lovely young man he was....and quite handsome too. I think of you, his family, Don, Anne and Shirley and think what a loss to you all his death was. That you still miss him must be a part of every day. Love to you all.

Dane was a good friend to me when I had few. A "REAL PERSON".

I will always remember our summers in Kansas on the farm and with dad and Anne in iowa city .I love you so much . I wish we could have been together in the last few years . You were so talented ,smart ,funny and handsome .I miss you and love you with all my heart .

So sad to hear of Dane's passing. Though I've not seen him in over two decades, I have thought of Dane often, remembering what sweet and fun person he was. My sister and I recently shared cherished memories of Dane. Rest in peace.

Unexpected deaths are hard to bear. May you be comforted among all who mourn.

If father Don Moses is the former choral director at the U. of Iowa, I would like to resume contact and catch up after the nearly 40 years since I sang in the Kantorei -- Toban Dvoretzky, toban. 77014 [at] windstream.net (Sugar Land, TX).

I'm terribly saddened about the loss of Dane. While I haven't seen him in decades, I remember the fun times we had when we were kids since our dads were on the U of Iowa School of Music faculty. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers - hoping you can find peace and comfort during this time.

My heart truly aches as I read this. Dane and I were friends in high school and I spent a lot of time trying to keep him out of trouble. He spent time making me laugh. Great memories.
