Pastor Ahrens. Pivotal in my personal spiritual development. I embraced what he openly shared, and have been paying it forward ever since. 50 years now.

Sorry to hear of another classmate being called home. May the Lord Jesus continue to watch over the family and keep them in his loving arms.

So sorry for your loss, have memories from his time in Abbotsford when we did things on a Circuit level.

My condolences to the family of Pastor Ahrens. I have fond memories of Pastor and the youth group and the group's journey to the Chicago church and missions. May your hearts be filled with the joyful memories of a life well lived.

My sympathy to the Ahrens family. Rev. Ahrens was a pastor who preached a message that made us look at the world outside of B'wood and truly connected with the young people in the congregation. His oratory skills were great - nobody dozed during one of Pastor Ahrens sermons!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dan...we remember back 34 years ago when we were in Amway and would meet at Shane and Sally's for our meetings. Also, remember when Dan sneezed at MacDonald's and had to go to the hospital because of intense chest pain....he thought he was having a heart attack. It turned out to be a pulled muscle.

We hope that your faith, family and friends will help you at this sad time. May you cherish the love and memories you had for 55...
