Daniel Allen

I loved listening to Dan and Dorian Duffin talk politics. Dan was a fixture at Sun Valley Marble, often bringing in his amazing violins. He was an amazing talent!

Dan was the epitome of an excellent student/athlete at Burns Union High School. With strong leadership skills to accompany his intellect, athletic prowess and wonderful sense of humor Dan contributed much to the personal and educational growth of all is classmates at BUHS. I am sure his infectious good humor contributed much to the lives of all those he touched in his 88 years of life.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dan the Whistling Man at TM, where he lived. I enjoyed interacting with him sharing whistling tunes, asking him questions about his time in the AF and sharing jokes/laughs. He shared many stories with me about his woodworking career and accomplishments in learning and constructing violins.
