Read MoreI'm so sorry to hear of Dr. Dan's passing. He was such a kind man. We shared a love of opera and I always enjoyed hearing the stories of performances he had seen. He was very knowleageble and truly loved music. His joy of medicine, teaching and music will be missed. He was a blessing to many.

It was with such sadness that I learned of Dan's death. I feel very fortunate to have gotten to know him through the Virginia Opera Guild and the ODU class we both attended, Opera is for Everyone. I am now reading of his many accomplishments and realize how many more lives he enriched in his time cut short here. May he be at peace and enjoying the beautiful voices of the angels in Heaven.
