I just want to thank everyone that has taken the time to sign this guest book. My Dad was loved by many and I just wish I could be half the man he was. I left home at an early age so I did not get to grow up with my Dad but no matter were I was, he was always there to help me anyway he could. Love and miss you Dad. Mom you have always been the strong one, so continue to help hold this great family together. Love you all Tommy....

I would always look forward to seeing my (great)Uncle D.C. when visiting, no matter how much time went by he had a very special way of making you feel like you belonged. His silliness made my heart always smile.

Chancy Law

February 25, 2005

Hello everyone, My name is Chancy Law and for the better part of my life the Lowden family has been my family to. Jerry and Sherry are my second mom and dad and Allen my brother along with Micheal and Richard. Over the years I had the privilege to meet D.C. Altum on several occassions and when I learned of his death my heart sank and my thoughts and prayers went out to the Altum and Lowden families. He was truly a special man loving and accepting to all that he met. The values and kindness that he has passed onto his family are second to none and I know that his memory will live forever in the hearts of those that loved him. With love and the deepest sympathy,

Chancy.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My memories of D.C. go back to Mrs. Baird's when he and my father, Holland Weaver, worked together. I know my parents enjoyed many hours with D.C. and Nell. He was a very kind and thoughtful person. May God be with each of you at this time.
