Not sure what to say?

Dan and Manuel were school mates. Both wonderful and easy to be around. I want to convey my most sincere and heartfelt sympathy to all of the Alvarez family Mary Lou Hill-Fisher

You all have my sympathy in your loss. I have thought of all of you often. I wondered how Laurie and Danny were. It's been years since I saw them. I am also a widow, but keep going due to all of the wonderful memories we had together. Your memories of your loving life with Dan will keep you going. Mr. Alvarez was one teacher I always respected. As a first Cousin of his deseased Mother, which I loved very much,I too pain his Death

Played basketball with Dan on independent teams. Also had him as an official at games I coached. Dan
was always a decent friendly person with high morals.

My prayers are with your family. I grew up in Cal. Township and first met your family when I was in scouts with Debbie. Through the years I would run into Dan and he was always Happy, always smiling. That's how he will be remembered.
God be with you.

I admire him still for all of his accomplishments and the terrific example he set for those coming behind him. It is wonderful to read that after all these years he still retained the fine character I admired in high...
