Dan was a wonderful speaker and I have missed his lectoring. I was up at Soldiers recently making a visit when I saw his name on the door to his room so I stopped in to say hello and tell him how much I had enjoyed listening to his voice when he would lector.
My heartfelt sympathy for your loss.

Dear Diane and family,
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Danny. Our sincerest sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Diane and Family,

So sad to learn of Danny's passing. He will be sorely missed. I have fond memores of he, Vinnie, and I planning the Peanut Bowl Affair. May he rest in peace. I can visualize Coach Moge tossing a football to him and saying.

"Welcome Dan. Well Done."

Danny and his team mate, Vinnie, were "neighbors" at Reed Hall at AIC when I was there. He was a good friend to me. I wish I had been in the area to meet him from time to time. A great person!

diane and family, remembering the 4th of july picnics, at the circle.. welcoming new neighbors.. trying to find his books.. all good memories of a dear friend. he will be missed. my prayers n thoughts to you n dan's family. Dick Curran

Dear Diane and Family,

Dan was always a wonderful friend to my parents and to our entire family. My Dad especially enjoyed their days together at Mansfield. You are all in our thoughts.
