My husband, David, was a friend of Dan's for many years. I am sorry to hear of his passing. May God be with you through this time.

I'm sadden to learn of Dan's passing.

Dan and Elaine were good friends of mine when we worked together for Cornell's Computer Services in the late 70's. I'll never forget Dan cooking dinner for us; he always served steak and potatoes! I often think about his 1200 baud dial-up modem on his dining room table dialed into Cornell as he worked on some program. Boy, how far technology has grown since then.

My thoughts go out to Elaine and Dan's family.

Dan and I go way back to our time as consultants for Cornell University's central IT group in the 1970's. I credit Dan with teaching me the ins and outs of technology on the mainframes back then. We were able to handle virtually any student or faculty problem.

Dan was a confirmed bachelor with daily routines that were not meant to be altered! Dan was a neat guy.

I enjoyed our times together and knew I could count on Dan to help solve any technical problem we ran...
